Call for Campus Authors 2016

The call for submissions of 2016 book titles by members of the University of Guelph community for this year’s Campus Author event has officially begun.

Every year, Guelph faculty, staff, students, alumni and retirees write, edit and/or translate a number of books that reflect the breadth and diversity of the campus community's research, personal and professional interests. The library celebrates our campus authors and their books at the annual Campus Author recognition event.

“In 2015 we celebrated an astonishing 95 authors and 116 books,” said Carol Perry, Research Enterprise & Scholarly Communication Librarian and Campus Author Coordinator. “Campus Author is a great event that recognizes the hard work and dedication of our own hometown authors. All of the authors really love the event and it’s a nice way to celebrate their efforts.”

Faculty, staff, retirees, students and alumni are all welcome to submit books. All eligible books published by December 1, 2016 will be considered. This year the recognition event will take place in spring 2017.
