Supporting Remote Learning
Online learning doesn’t have to mean learning alone! As the library moves to an online environment, the library is here to support you in staying connected and accomplishing what you need to for your assignments and exams.
Online appointments and chat are still available. Connect with us online to talk about your writing project, research strategies, learning tips, and more. Book your online appointment with one of our staff by visiting our Appointment Booking page.
Beginning the week of March 23, 2020, some Supported Learning Group (SLG) leaders are offering online, hour-long, check-ins with the courses they’ve been supporting this semester. Join the conversation to discuss the course, how it’s changed, and how to use technology for group studying. To see if your course has an online SLG check-in, visit the Online Supported Learning Group (SLG) page on our website.
Additionally, we have a variety of online resources that can provide you with advice about online learning, such as:
- Online Learning Guide—provides resources for making the transition to online learning like taking tests online and presenting online.
- Online Writing Resources—has templates, guides, and videos to help you at various stages of the writing process.
- Digital Learning Commons—videos and other tools on a range of academic and professional skills.
